The Sunvell T95U Pro comes in a black package with yellow letterings on the package. On the upper side of the package is written TT TV box, and at the bottom of the package is written T95U Pro to indicate the model of the product. Other than these, there is no other necessary information.
Inside the box, you will find typical accessories that usually come with a TV Box including a power adapter, an HDMI Cable, a remote control, the user manual which is written in English and the Sunvell T95U Pro Smart Box itself.

The Sunvell T95U Pro is quite different from a lot of TV boxes out there. The device is made of metal which protects it from being damaged on impact or fall, and on the metal casing, the name Sunvell is nicely carved.
At the front of the TV box, you will find the power button and the LED display which basically shows time and other status indicators.
Sunvell chose to upgrade from the Sunvell T95Z Plus with the T95U Pro mainly by featuring a new curved design that lifts the box up. It is hoped that this design will allow for air to flow above and below the casing, thereby cooling it.
On the side of the box, there is a USB port and a slot for the TF card, and on the back of the device, you will find the optical audio port, the AV, HDMI, the Ethernet network adapter, the second USB port and the power adapter port.
Powering the device
As soon as you connect the Sunvell T95U Pro TV Box to a TV screen and you power up the device, the T95U Pro displays an animation which takes about 20 seconds.
The next thing that is seen on the display is the KODI multimedia centre.
The navigation buttons are located at the bottom of the screen. One thing that people may find stressful about these navigation and notification tools is that; once you hide them, you may not be able to bring them up unless you click the screen again to bring back the multi-media display.
This shouldn’t be a problem, though, because the interface is smooth and the response speed is relatively fast.
Software & Applications
When you click on the Apps button, it takes you to the apps page where you have lots of applications like 3D gallery, Facebook, Playstore, KODI, Skype, T95U Pro browser, Showbox Swift support, Netflix, twitter, system updater and many more pre-installed apps.
You can also download your favourite apps from the default App Store which is the Google Play Store.
For the Tech geeks, here’s some big news; the Sunvell T95U comes rooted, so all that stress has been taken care of for you, and all you need to do now simply carry out all the advanced operations you have in mind. The root access of the TV Box can be checked with the Root Checker app that comes with it.
Settings
The settings are not quite different from that of a typical TV box settings. You can connect your Sunvell T95U Pro Smart Box to the internet through the network adapter or through Wi-Fi.
The internet speed between the two connection media differs, but I think the company should work more on the Wi-Fi speed to deliver smooth internet experience among users.
That said, the device still performed well in our Wi-Fi Speed Test using the default app that came with it for that function.
Storage
The device offers storage capacity of up to 11.87GB which is usable out of the 16GB that comes with the device. And even more interesting is the fact that you can use an external memory card through the TF memory card slot to give you more memory space in case you are interested in downloading more heavy applications on the device.
One of the things that I think the company can upgrade on is the fact that, Netflix should be able to play in High Definition on the device, although this may involve some forms of paperwork and legalisation between the company and Netflix.
Another thing is, the KODI video application may not be able to play your multimedia except you use the multimedia app that comes with the device.
The Play store in the Sunvell T95U Pro Smart Box runs well, the multi-tasking also works well such that you can move in between opened apps without necessarily closing anyone; typical android functioning. Another striking feature in this device is the YouTube application which has an adjustable resolution that can give you the exact picture quality you prefer.
Gaming & Performance
Gamers are not going to be disappointed with the Sunvell T95U Pro Smart Box; the Bluetooth 4.0 connection allows you to connect your console and you can play your Fifa and 3D cars racing online. For a price of $65.49, the Sunvell T95U Pro Smart Box is one of the best you can get out there at that price when it comes to TV boxes.
We tested the T95U Pro with three different benchmark applications, and the TV Box returned impressive scores on each one of them. Before doing these, we ran the default storage speed benchmark and the results were equally impressive.

The Sunvell T95U Pro had an Internal Memory Read speed of 51.31 MB/s and a Write speed of 23.88 MB/s. It also scored a RAM copy speed of 3457.60 MB/s.

On Antutu, the Sunvell T95U TV Box had an overall score of 34897, which is quite impressive in comparison with the other TV Boxes we’ve reviewed. You can also test individual aspects of the device with Antutu.

On Geekbench 4, the Sunvell T95U Pro got a single core score of 423, and a Multi-core score of 2100. The benchmark app displays information about the parts of the device, and you can as well test the individual parts of the TV Box.

Ice Storm Extreme is not as popular as the above two apps when it comes to benchmarking and performance testing, but since it came pre-loaded on the Sunvell T95U, why not test it?

The app itself offers more than just performance and bencnhmark scores; it’s capable of displaying results of monitored data in a short space of time, and if you scroll downwards from the benchmark results page, you’d be able to test other aspects of your TV Box.
Sound, Audio & Language
The Sunvell T95U Pro comes with the normal sound technology you would find on many other TV Boxes. It comes with a lot of Languages pre-installed on it.
The Sunvell T95U Pro TV Box allows you to tweak the sound an audio output of the device in the Settings interface. There are two audio setting parameters which are ‘digital sounds’ and ‘system sounds’.
With system sounds, you get basic settings, but if you want more, Digital sounds allows to set the PCM, tweak the HDR settings and much more.
