2018 BMW 2 Series facelift spied
A partially-camouflaged BMW 2 Series has been spotted on the back of a truck on its way to one of the company’s test facilities.
The white coupe pictured is believed to be a pre-production version of an upcoming mid-life facelift for BMW’s smallest coupe and convertible.
As you can see from the small amount of disguise, not a whole lot will change with this updated model.
Up front there will be revised headlights with a new LED daytime-running light signature, along with a small update to the company’s trademark double kidney grille.
Changes out the back are even more subtle, with the tail-lights getting a new look and a small change to the rear bumper.
Inside, the dashboard is covered indicating there are some changes in store for the interior as well.
These images come not long after BMW detailed the revised 2017 2 Series range for Australia in August – which saw the addition of new engines and extra standard equipment, but no cosmetic upgrades.
It’s likely the facelifted BMW 2 Series will debut sometime in the second half of next year, with the first Australian deliveries commencing a few months after that.
