Wenger rates Giroud’s chances of starting for Arsenal’s clash vs Bournemouth
Arsene Wenger has remained coy over Olivier Giroud’s chances of starting for Arsenal’s clash with Bournemouth on Sunday.
The 30-year-old started his first game of the season for the Gunners on Wednesday evening as Wenger’s men were held to a 2-2 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international also found the net late on to rescue a point for Arsenal against Manchester United last Saturday, but Wenger has suggested that he is still open to starting Alexis Sanchez as his central striker.
‘It is game by game,’ said the Arsenal manager.
‘His physical presence gave PSG problems and I decide game after game.
‘I need everybody on board.’
