Bayern Munich utility man David Alaba would prefer a transfer to Arsenal rather than Manchester United, according to reports.

It was reported earlier this week that United were set to make a move for the Austrian star, believing the dwindling standards under current Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti would be enough to tempt Alaba away from the Bundesliga.
