The former The Only Way Is Essex star went all out as the host of the star-studded event at The Banqueting Hall.

From her floor-length gown with thigh-high split, to her trademark make-up tricks including the glam eyeliner flick, the This Morning host knows how to do style.

And in particular from the night, Ferne created a huge fuss with her original hairstyle that took a classic ponytail and completely livened it up.

Sharing her look details on Instagram, the 26 year old wrote: "Oh what a night. Tonight I am presenting my first awards ceremony ever.

The simple ponytail look has been given a revamp by the This Morning star [Wenn]

"I am so excited to be hosting the Beauty Awards 2016. Wearing @lipsylondon."

And her hair particularly caught the eye of everyone on her social pages.

The 26 year old was reunited with her former TOWIE star Lewis Bloor on the night [OK!]

With so much fuss around the look, we got Katie Allan, Creative Manager at Charles Worthington Salons to show us how it's done. And it's REALLY easy.

Here's how you can recreate Ferne's look:

1. Use mousse on dry hair to create a strong hold at the roots.

2. Apply a texturising spray through the roots, then gently backcomb the hair in sections, working from under the crown up to the front hairline.

3. Use a soft brush to smooth out the top layer of hair without flattening the backcombing.

4. Then, use either your fingers or the soft brush to secure the hair with an elastic band at the nape of the neck.

5. To hide the band you can wrap a piece of your hair around the pony and secure with a grip.
